Frequently Asked Questions

The Netversity ELPT is an internal proficiency assessment for admission to UK Diploma programmes at Netversity. It is not a replacement for IELTS, TOEFL, or other internationally recognised tests.

Results are valid for 12 months from the date of the test.

The Reading, Writing, and Listening sections must be completed at an approved Netversity test centre under invigilation. The Speaking section may be recorded asynchronously.

Writing is evaluated by AI against IELTS-standard rubrics covering Task Achievement, Coherence & Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range & Accuracy. Borderline scores (Band 4-6) are reviewed by a qualified human moderator.

Candidates scoring between Band 4 and 5 will be offered a conditional pathway, which may include additional English support classes before retesting.

Test fees vary by location. Contact your local Netversity centre for current pricing.

Netversity also accepts IELTS (minimum 5.0), TOEFL iBT (minimum 35), and PTE Academic (minimum 36) for diploma admission.
